DescriptionLochranza Castle' on the island of Arran original signed watercolour. John Hamilton Glass(1820-1885) J Hamilton Glass was a Scottish artist and painted portraits, landscapes and horses. He was elected as a member of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1849 and he exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1847 and 1859. He then decide to emigrate to Australia where he gave up painting.
